I have sent emails to:

"group"-nomail@yahoogroups.com

"group"-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

"group"-owner@yahoogroup.com

where group is gslac_disaster_services

all of them result in a automated reply from yahoo "Unable to process your message"The email address used to send your message is not subscribed to this group. also gslac_disaster_services-moderator@yahoog... results in a undeliverable notice. I have submitted multiple requests to Yahoo Technical Support, Email Spam Abuse, Yahoo Groups abuse, and Yahoo Customer Care. I received an form email from each request notifying me that someone would respond within 48 hours, two weeks now and not one response. I called billing and they said there is nothing they can do, all other phone numbers refer to the online forms. Should I start making complaints to the FTC and FCC concerning Yahoo?? I dont see anymore options.

  1. Here is how you can unsubscribe from a Yahoo Group:

    1.Try to unsubscribe through:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

    2. If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. (GROUPNAME-owner@yahoogroups.com)

If these still didn't work for you try the following options:

    3. Block the address(es) or arrange your preferences so that they are sent to your bulk/spam folder.

    4. Contact yahoo customer care:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

  2. unfortunately, you had chosen to use the unsub addy and  if you were an added, thats the only addy you can use to leave such a group. however the best way to leave a group is via the homepage or my groups page.  via e-mail has great delays going through the servers, and the more you send the more it messes up that unsub to go through. it doesn't see you as a member due to the first one you sent, however those e-mails take time to stop.

those e-mails will eventually stop, it's going to take longer now.

to keep an add from happening if that were the case:

How can I prevent moderators from adding me to their groups or sending me invitations?

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

you already sent in every help form possible, although the groups abuse form is the main one if you were an add. Yahoo or no one can pronto stop the posts from coming, no one can hurry a server :)

  3. You could tick  the little box beside one of the messages then click spam,  or Click on options top right on your mailbox.  On the next window click block addresses.  in the next window enter the address  to block.
