I love to travel but a couple of times when I went somewhere I got really homesick and depressed. I had one trip where everything was rush rush and I saw so many things my brain just kinduve shut down and felt overstimulated and everything suddenly looked strange and unfamiliar and I got a sense of terror and a desperate need to go home. So I have a cruise coming up to the carribbean in December, my first cruise ever and you think I'd be happy and I am but I am also very fearful I will get homesick and anxiety. Can anyone give me some advice?

  1. I always feel like this before traveling. It seems really dumb but you just can't stop the feeling. Cruising is so much fun. Once you're on the ship you'll lose these feelings because you will be having so much fun. Bon Voyage! You may also want to speak with your doctor and maybe get some anti-anxiety medication just in case you need it.
