I auditioned for a musical at my school and the cold read part went great. BUT when it was time to sing I just couldn't do that in front of so many other people. I started geting all quiet, my voice was trembling, didn't reach the right notes and so on. When I was in 7th grade better then I did now. My chorus teacher is letting me re do it but I still have to do it in front of a crowd so any tips?

  1. Pretend nobody is there.

You are singing to a bunch of dolls and barbies.

You are far away from people.

If you don't sing loud enough, the dolls can't hear your lovely voice.

  2. Ignore everyone, and just focus 100% on what you are doing...TOTALLY, when you focus on something, everything else fades away.

  3. Visualize your audience as naked. It will make you smile and relax. It is a trick of public speakers.
