I live in an apartment in Calabasas, CA . It has an apartment PO box. Right when I moved in, it already got a massive amount of junk mail. How do I stop getting all that junk mail? It's just insane and fills my box too quickly.

Thanks

  1. if their address is given, call their "do not mail register" list and add yourself to it. hope it works :)

  2. put a note on your box, inside and out, stating no junk mail to be delivered.

  3. ParetoLogic Spam Controls offers a hassle free solution. Boasting one of the best detection rates in the industry, ParetoLogic Spam Controls will automatically scan your inbox and safely quarantine spam.

You can find it from here:

  4. The Post Office will accept a request that you get no mail

marked 'occupant' or 'our friends at' etc.

Anything with your name on it, they must deliver.

  5. nail your mailbox shut!

  6. Postal regulations state that if the address is correct and that it has endorsements as to current occupant, current addressee or such that it has to be delivered. Some carriers might do as you ask and not deliver it but in doing so risk their job. They at the office put any UBBM undeliverable business bulk mail {junk mail} in a tub near their case, then a clerk goes through it to make sure there's no firstclass mail. Then it is either thrown away or recycled.

  7.      There's not really much you can do. When we lived in the country it was welcomed, it made good starter for making fires in the furnace in the winter, we saved it and were tankful but, it the city, I can see it would be a pain.
