I just bought a new laptop, Its a Dell Inspiron 1525 with Vista.

Ive got a Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU 2.00 GHZ Processor and 2038MB Ram. But I am unable to locate my graphics card, I have tried going to system and using Device Manager and Ive run DXDIAG and I am still unable to find out what kind of Graphics Card I have.

My Sims game will run fine for about ten minutes before it crashes, Ive unistalled and reinstalled, Ive installed the patch and it just keeps on crashing.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

  1. make sure ur disk is clean use a damp cloth water only

  2. That laptop has onboard graphics: Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100. You might be able to play the base game with the graphics settings down low. For help playing with onboard or integrated graphics see here: http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title...

But really if you want to play Sims on that laptop buy Castaway Stories, Pet Stories or any of the other sims games specifically designed for laptops with low-end graphics.
