  1. what do you mean by shaking?

    do you mean that it is shaking on the table or the screen is shaking?

    please clarify =S


  2. Is this a CRT monitor? I will assume it is

    Try setting it to a higher refresh rate.

    Move it away from speakers, other monitors, or any other sources of interference. (Or wrap a piece of cardboard in tinfoil as a sort of shield...it works!)

    Reroute the power and video cables so they do not run side by side.
