How do I stop my ears and head from hurting because of cold winds and the water when I go surfing?

  3. don't surf in Alaska during winter..try going to warm climates! or you could wear a wet suit with a head piece...to keep dry and warm but the headache thing probably just take some aspirin

  4. wear a hood. most surf shops have them and they are fairly cheap, i wear one all the time in winter and they work fine, for me its a no hair thing that causes it,

  5. It's called a hood. My 6mm has one built in and it keeps me fine down to 38 degree water. The headache is called an icecream headache; I'm sure you get the similiarity if you've had one.

  6. Your sinus passages are clogging.  Get non-drowsy sudafed, I used it all the time when scuba diving.  Had the same problem.
