How do I stop my eyeliner from smearing?

I need good makeup brands to buy that won't smear. I usually use wet 'n wild eyeliner, and bon belle powdered eyeshadow. But I find that the powder comes off, and if I put the shadow on before the eyeliner, it cakes onto the pencil so the pencil won't draw on my eye. Also, within about 45 minutes my eyeliner smears and it just looks like a mess! I need brands and tips!!!!!! I start work next week and I don't want smeared makeup! lol

use water proof cuz moisture makes it smear. if it still gets messed up  then you're using to much

Covergirl, Benefit, L'Oreal and MAC all make really good eyeshadows that tend to have staying power.

As for pencil eyeliner, the one I like that doesn't smear is by a brand called Napoleon, but I'm not sure if they stock that where you are. Otherwise I think MAC make a pretty good one. I know it's probably a lot more expensive than Wet n' Wild, but it's worth it.

Tigi big fat eyeliner is amzing it never runs, I wore it to a funeral and cried my eyes out and it didnt budge, its a little expensive though, so after you put on eyeliner put some face powder right under your eyes with a brush and that should help lock it in place
