  1. your full e-mail address doesn't show on the group except to the owner and you. members only see up to the @.... of other's unless it's individual mail

  2. It depends on whether the owner/moderator of the Yahoo Group has allowed members to hide their e-mail address.  To check, log in to the Group's home page on the web.  Then click Edit Membership in the middle of the top line (just below the ad if there is one).  Scroll down to the last part of Step 1 Your Contact Information.  If you see a sub-section called Email Address Display, with a check box just below it that says Hide My Email And IP Address From The Group Moderators, then you can hide your e-mail address completely by checking the box.  (Note that if you can and do check this box, you'll only be able to post messages to the Group from the Group web site, not from your e-mail address.)  If you do make any changes to the settings on this page, don't forget to click the Save Changes button (towards the lower-right-hand corner) when you're done.

One more thing : even if you can't or don't hide your e-mail address in this way, it doesn't always show your full e-mail address to every member.  The owner/moderators will always be able to see your full e-mail address, and when Yahoo knows it's you, it also shows your full e-mail address.  But all other members will only see up to the @ sign in your e-mail address when they check the Group web site - they won't be able to see the last part of your e-mail address.

  3. Contact Yahoo! On the matter!
