  1. Smash it with a phone book and get a cat.

  2. You can wear gloves.

  3. let it sniff your hand and get your smell on some of the stuff the uses so when you put your hand in the cage she noes your smell allready

  4. i have a hamster and mine used to do that to  but what you do is get  the hamster used to going in the cage and gine the hamster a treat or something  to take the hamsters mind off get into the cage then it should be ok when youstart takeing the hamster in and out of the cage thats what i done with my hamster and it works  i hope that helps

  5. Does design of your cage forces you to approach her from the top? If so she's afraid and thinks you're a predator trying to eat her! They can't see above themselves to well. You can try letting her know you're there by talking to her and "announcing" you've come to play.

I like bin cages because you can put your whole arm into the cage and allow the hamster to come to you.

    Reasons hamsters bite -

poor breeding (someone bred hamsters with poor temperments)

poor socialization (it hasn't been tamed/played with enough)

    poor cage design/poor eyesite

    illness

  6. Well, there could be a number of reasons...It could be the way that your holding her/him. Hamsters dont liked to squeezed or held tightly. Try to start coxing him into your flat hand with a treat or veggie. They will eventually just run up on your hand expecting to get fed.

  7. Hamsters like to bite people because they think your fingers are things to chew.  Make sure you wash your hands really well, because your hamster might smell food and it will try to eat it lol.  If it's a new hamster then it's really normal, but if you've had your hamster for about 4 months, then just wear gloves or something.  Pet her and hold her everyday so she get's used to you.  That should help a lot=)

  8. Buy the hamster a muzzle!

Here, this might help you find the right size:

    No-Bite Comfort Muzzles

    (Measure just above the nose.)

    1. Measure the circumference midway between the tip of the nose and eyes.

    2. Measure neck size at base of neck, just under the ears.

    3. Measure jaw length from the nose to the throat.

  9. feed her a piece of food when you do it so she wont bite you

  10. put her in the cage with something, maybe with chopsticks

  11. 1.  Wear Gloves

    2.  Don't Stick your hand in the cage

    3. Don't have her head near your Hand

  12. that happens to my friend, who also has a girl hamster. You should just lure her out with food when you want to play with her. She is just being territorial.

  13. It'll stop eventually. You can't do much. Hamsters like to bite people they aren't familiar with. Like a barking dog.
