How do I stop my previous searches from appearing underneath the search toolbar?

whenever anyone hits the search toolbar then my wife can see all the p**n i look at, i hate it! help me pls!

Go to 'clear history' under 'tools' on your browser.

Click Tools at the top of your screen then go down to Internet options and click clear history, also you can change how many days it holds the memory of you history. Also Delete your cookies and Internet files this is just files that's stores things from Internet sites you don't need it. This will also help the performance of your computer.
