How do I stop my sister!!?

She is listening to the g*y jonas bros really loud and i want her to put it of or make it quiet she is so sad how many 13 year olds do you know that still watch Disney and Nick

I just don't listen to Disney's music. I don't like the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato or Miley Cyrus.....I like Melodic Death Metal more lol. but you didn't have to say it is sad that a 13 year old still watches Disney and Nick cause I'm 14 and still watch it.

haha i feel bad for you. my best friend's little brother likes hannah montana.

anyway, she'll grow out of it eventually. in the meantime, try introducing her to good music- slowly. you don't want to spring your black metal on her all at once.

try some good pop first, like christina aguilera. then wean your way into pop-rock, then into rock, and so on.

it worked with my little brother. (fortunately, he never liked disney channel music. phew!)

similar story with mu little cousin.

she came to my house to get hand me downs from me, and i was trying to give her one of my beatles shirts that was too small, and she goes

"NO!! are you CRAZY!??!"

and i was like, "what's your favorite band, then?"

she said "the jonas brothers, of course"

i slapped her, no lie.

not hard though, it was IMPULSE.

she wasnt mad, she thought it was funny because that made me mad

so i stormed outside where my aunt and mom were talking and FLIPPED OUT on my aunt, questioning HOW she could let her listen to them

i dont know how she started liking them, her MOM (my aunt) has the best music taste ever

My sister is 12 and does the same thing. I've found myself making countless numbers of deals with her.

Tell her that if she wears headphones, you'll wear headphones too.

Tell her that she can't play any music before noon and you won't make any noise while she's trying to sleep.

I think that in the end it's understandable that she likes that kind of music.  After all, most celebrities are around 25 years old and finally there's a 15 year old boy in the mix.  Eventually she'll grow out of it or at least grow out of blasting the music.

Ok about 5 of my friends still watch disney and nick but only two of them went to a Jonas brothers concert. We are all 15-16 and the one who went to the jonas brothers concert said she doesnt know what Crazy Train is and i was all WUt?

Sadness. What is with this craze? My sister is into Jonas Brothers, no talent is in them.

I think you should either break the CD, or even cut some wires in the stereo (But the love of god, turn of any switches if it is pluged in). Then she cant listen to it.

I scratched my sisters cd.. Now she cant listen to it! >:)
