  1. Avoid the oil based foundation, you can buy water based foundation for oily skin. I have the same prob, you have to use a foudation powder over the top of the foundation when you first put it on and use the powder again in the afternoon, problem solved. I have found the loose powder is far better than the compressed powder.

  2. I agree with KATE B, avoid oil base foundations. Use powders through out the day to minimise the oily look. You should look at trying to dry your skin out with a toner with alcohol, or methylated spirits to dry out the skin. And that may solve your oily problem all together.

  3. use a primer. if you live in the UK, go to superdrug and try the primer by GOSH (it may be only available at larger superdrug stores). it is the BOMB!!

  4. Your skin is oily because the ph level is

incorrect.  This means that your skin is

dehydrated and produces extra oil as a

    result.

I suggest you drink more water and you need

to use a hydration cream which is non- oily

and switch to an oil free foundation.

It is important for you  to invest in a foundation

base.... or.... setter...which you apply before foundation,

which (a)  makes foundation lasts longer

    (b) foundation does not slide .

make sure that your toner or cleanser is not too strong

because it will also dry out your skin causing it to

produce more oil or shine .

  5. Use a matte primer, MAC has one and a bunch of other brands.  Then use a lighter foundation like a mineral powder over it.  There are also oil controlling foundations in the Nuetrogena line.

  6. Get a foundation for oily skin. For example, Mary Kay have a range of normal skin, medium, oily and dry. That is the brand what i use but I am sure others have the same. Also use a moisturizer and face wash for oily skin. Good luck!

  7. Also a foundation primer may help you.

  8. SHEER COVER MINIRAL MAKE UP! lol

i sware if that stuff had a dress i would marry it :D x

  9. 1. Use a moisturizer for oil control or meant for oily skin. This may be hard to find and I use a $40 one from Prescriptives, but if you look hard (I couldn't find one at any drug or grocery stores) maybe you can find a cheap one from Neutrogena or similar.

    2. Use a foundation primer, also for oily skin. I use Smashbox's Photo Finish Light primer, but like I said, if you look around, you can probably find a cheaper one.

    3. Make sure to use an oil-free foundation... most quality brands carry them.

  10. i have a clinque foundation for oliy skin and its really good =]

  11. get a cream for oily skin that mattefyes it, and get a foundation for oily skin.

a little helper for on the way is mattefying paper - this soaks up the shine / oil.
