  1. Live your life.  The things you experience will bring lyrics and music to your dreams.

  2. You should just put it away for a while. I've had writers block for almost two months. Just don't force it. I mean recently I just finished a song that I started a year ago. If your stuck on a verse or something I just think about it before I sleep. I get a lot of good lines in my dreams. I know that sounds cheezy but it helps.

  3. i've found that the easiest thing to do is to fall in love :]

  4. Every writer gets writers block once in a while, and what they do is take a break. Inspiration will find you when you pay close attention to what's going on around you.

  5. listen to other people's music. read books, walk around town. find something to absorb your thoughts, and when you go back to your instrument, just start playing whatever. hope that helps!
