How do I stop the high-pitched noise coming from my CRT monitor?

My CRT monitor frequently creates this high-pitched tone when its on. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, I have to turn it off because its so annoying. Why is it making this noise and is there anything I can do to stop it?

try ~is your phone ~land line or mobile near PC.

have you got filters on every incoming phone line.

if yes to above await another answer if no well !!!

A friend of mine had the same problem...it use to make such noise attimes..largely b4 windows bootup. He eventually had to get it repaired.

So i suggest you the same get it repaired. It wont cost u a lot.
