  1. first you will need to delete them by clicking on the open box and exposing the list. hold your cursor over the top item and hit delete. when it goes away another will take its place just delete etc... then open your Internet options box and uncheck the fill in box provided, this will keep those words out of the dropdown menu.

  2. Try deleting history in your browser. Go into tools and it's there. The only other way is to delete them individually by right clicking on them and selecting delete which is a pain!

  3. On your toolbar, go to:

view > tools > Internet options

    On the pop up, select:

General tab, under the 'History' section, change the number of days to keep history.

    Hit the 'Clear' search history

    Click on OK

This will clear everything on your main toolbar.  If you also have a 'msn/yahoo/google,' installed toolbar, click the arrow next to the icon for a drop down list.  Click on 'clear search history'
