I am the owner and use an outside E-mail account to send messages. I do not want to be moderated because I have to approve my own messages. How do I set yahoo groups from automaticaly approving my messages?

Thanx

  1. Unfortunately there is no option for that. You might want to set your options so that only new members are moderated. If after some time you feel comfortable with them, you can take them off moderated

  2. To Unmoderate Yourself

look your self up in the members list- click edit memebrship below your ID- at bottom of next page click Posting Messages:    Override: This member's posts are always moderated (Edit) <-- click edit- bottom next page check

    * Messages posted by this member are not moderated.<----

    * Messages posted by this member are moderated.

    * This member can't post messages.

    click save changes

  3. You have not associated that particular email account with your group.  This will take care of the whole thing:

    Sign in to the group.

Click on "Edit Membership" located near top of page.

Scroll down to "Email Address" and under that, click on "Add new email address".

Enter the email address you want to use and click "Continue".

Enter your Yahoo password and click "Sign In" button.

An Email Verification page will come up telling you that Yahoo sent an email to that address.  When you receive that email from Yahoo, It will contain very important information that you must follow through with in the email for this transaction to be completed.
