  1. I reccomend you use a 2-3 inch round brush (2 if your hair is thinner and definitely 3 if its normal or thick) and dry your hair with that and your dryer. i use Frizz Ease straightening spray on my wet hair and then dry. I then touch up any wavy spots with my straightening iron. After my hair's totally dry i put a small amount of this great stuff called BioSilk on my hands and just run my fingers through my hair which keeps it shiny and smooth and frizz free!

  2. Products!  Try a smoothing mousse beforehand, or a shine product after blowing, and brush through.  It also helps to blow dry as soon as possible after washing, using a round brush to pull it straight as it dries.

  3. use a round brush and make sure you use a good heat protectant when you flat iron redken makes wonderful products i have curly aka nappy huir to so i feel on that one lol

  4. i've blow dryed/ straightened my hair pretty much every day since i was 12 and now i am 18 so my hair is heat damaged and kinda frizzy! it's really thick too but mine is straight. i use redken heat glide on my wet hair a long with got2be tipsy split end mender.. i use quite a lot of both of these and it tames the frizz a lot. i also use all soft shampoo /condition by redken. it makes it so so soft! i use a diffuser on my blow dryer (the cone lookin thing that goes on the end). then i straighten and that helps the frizz to go down after.

  5. you should try heat defense ...dont remember who its made by but its in a red spray bottle...me and all by sisters live for our straight irons and blowdryers...this really helped our hair.

  6. you should start with a good shampoo and conditioner specifically for your hair type.  Matrix has a whole line called Sleek. It's great for your hair type!  There's a shampoo, conditioner, styling cream (to protect your hair while you blow dry and aid you in the straightening process), a flat iron spray (to use section by section while you flat iron), a hairspray and I believe it helps block the humidity.

Paul Mitchell makes a line called Super Skinny! I love that one the best.  The Shampoo, Conditioner and the styling aid all cut down your blow drying time down by like 50%!!!! and talk about straight and smooth? good stuff!!  I use it on my clients all the time :)
