  1. Here's a good guide on how to straighten hair with a curling iron:

    http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Hair-Straigh...

My flat iron cost me around $30, and it's pretty good. I got it from Walmart.

  2. I use a curling iron at times to straighten hair... just pull straight out and when at the ends of the hair be quick and don't bend the ends... quick is the key when you ge to the ends... if you hair is short put the iron on there and pull quick... that simple.

The more you pay the more features you get... like better temp controls and a auto shut off... longer cord... grip features... medium $30 bucks would get a good one...

    hope this helps;-)))

    here's some links!!!

I like the 2nd link one!!!

  3. Part your hair in small section, width of two fingers. Use the curling iron form the root, but don't go all the way to the end. If you do your ends will be curled. repeat each section twice. Find some great serum first. Paul Mitchell has great products. I advice you to invest in a good flat iron. Using a curling iron will not produce satisfactory

  4. yeah they cost like 25 dollars at drugstores. and you really can't straighten your hair with a curling iron, it's for curling your hair.

  5. Sorry but you can't, you can try but it will not come out the way you want it. You can buy one at a drug store for like $13 Revlon makes some that work very well and cheap.I would of course recommend this only if you have short hair, which I assume from looking at your default pic. But if you have long, curly, coarse hair spending a few bucks more is definitely worth it.♫♥

  6. Well an average good working one that lasts a good amount of time should range from 30-50 dollars. The even better ones and usually more features that would make your life so much easier.

For the curling iron just clamp onto a lock of hand and roll down the lock with the clamp facing outward, do it quickly or you'll get creases. Just repeat until you're done.

Edit: oh yeah don't do it TOO quickly or else you'll probably pull on your hair and.. yeah just not slow not too fast but not slow enough to get creases.

  7. oh i see what you mean... at first i thought you meant the opposite,

well all you do is instead of rolling the iron, just hold it in places so the heat it made to straighten it instead of curling

    hope this helped

    :D

  8. You might try taking the clip off of it and just rolling the hair down from the roots to the ends.

Flatirons work wonders, and they extend the length of your hair and make it feel smooth. They're also very easy to use. I got mine at Walgreens (Conair Ceramic Straightener) for $20 and it still hasn't broken! There are many, many flatirons out there, and they are often expensive (over $70!). But make sure a flatiron won't damage your hair before you get one. If you do decide to purchase one, a good tip would be to buy some kind of smoothing oil that protects your hair from heat damage.

    Hope this helps! :)

  9. An average one will cost about $48 dollars at kohl's.But I don't know about other stores.

    As for your first question;

You can,but it wouldn't turn as good.Instead of curling it(twisting it)make it go straight. If the ends curl, try to use a hairbrush and a blow dryer. If you don't have one repeat the straightening.

  10. Instead of twisting the curling iron, go straight down with it.

And a flat iron can be between $20.00-$200.00

Mine is $160.00 and works really good, and is something like this but in a different color.
