How do I stretch my leather motorcycle race suit?

My leathers fit skin tight and I want to stretch them out a bit. I know they will stretch over time, but how can I speed up the process? Ride in the rain?

  1. Mine fit the same way... You want your suit to fit as snug as possible. A new suit will give a half a size to a size after a few times of using it. A perfectly fitting suit has few creases, baggy points (which are in my butt area) and folds, yet is just snug enough to be a little tight on the you.

So in saying that if its a new suit, do what I did...  run around in the house for a couple of days in it!!!

But in the same breath though, you don't want your suit overly uncomfortable because it will have the affect of being a distraction to your riding. Only you know you, they are meant to be snug, but not a distraction! If that makes any sense?!

Now if your suit ISN'T new and you still feel like its too tight, then I would really recommend getting a new suit... There really isn't any way that I know of that will permanently stretch your suit.

*Just remember the suit should fit as well as possible, like a second skin, tight to your body*

  2. A few years back I used to run my own bike shop. The best advise I can give you is to do the vacuming up !

It sounds weird but when you do, you move all the parts of your body that need to move on the bike.

Hips, elbow joints, knee joints etc....

Sounds mad I know, but a few years back I used to run my own bike shop, it always works !
