How do I survive public high school?

Question

I've been in a private school ever since jr high started and we don't have many students in our school. I'm going into my freshmen year. The work may be harder but not the friends and the thing is i am muslim. so we weren't allowed to talk to guys. But I'm used to that stuff and it may not be a problem. Can u give me some advice on what to do! the high school I'm going to is huge it has more than 2100 students. my private school had about 650-700 students...going from Pre-k - senior year. HELP!!!

Try to just be yourself and do not let anyone tear you down.  It's going to be tough because you're in a new environment, but I think that everything will be alright and you'll do just fine.  This is an opportunity to meet diverse people and make lots of friends!  Try to figure out what you want to get out of this experience, and if someone makes a rude comment shrug it off, why get upset over someone who doesn't know you and let them have the power over your well being.  Know who you are when you go in there and you'll be fine! :)

wow ya thats how my high school is except its more like 2300 but talking to guys its ok as long as its about education u could try to talk ur parents into letting u go to an all girls school

As for me, I went to a private high school with 500 students.  I communicate better with a medium amount of students.  My senior class has 100 students.
