How do I sync my iPod with my new MacBook?

Question

My new Mac allowed me to upload any songs I purchased by giving permission, but I don't know how to also upload the songs I have on my iPod that I put there from my CD collection.

go into itunes on your old computer and enable disk usage on your ipod and then like plug it into the new mac and it should recognize it in the finder as an external drive and you just open it and copy the files to the finder wherever you want the files to go in such as a music folder and there you go
