How do I take a screenshot of a page on my computer?

Please, I really want to take a screenshot of a page in my computer. I don't have Photoshop so I can't take it. Is there any other way?

press the "Prnt Scrn" button on your pc

then open microsoft paint

now under edit, click "paste"

you're done.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but you need to hit PrintScreen, then paste into Paint.

EDIT: Oh, I guess people have already mentioned this.  My bad.

Usually at the top right of your keyboard there is a button which says "PrtSc". It stands for "Print Screen" basically meaning that it will coppy whats on the screen and you can paste it anywhere.

Then go into the Paint program, right click, and click on paste.

If you have a desktop, hit the "Print Screen" button on the top row after the F-series keys. Then open up Paint and hit Ctrl+V and your screen image will show up. Then crop whatever part you need and save it as whatever you want.

If you have a laptop, you will have to hold the Fn key (function key, it should be blue in the bottom left of the keypad and the blue symbol Print Screen button for the initial capturing of the screen. After that, everything is the same as using a desktop.

if you use the print screen key it copies the screen  you can then paste it into paint

After all the "F" keys, there should be one labeled Prt Scr( Print Screen) Press that and then just paste the image somewhere (ctrl+v)

As everyone stated, PrintScreen is the key - pun intended :)

But to capture only the active window, use Alt+PrintScreen. This will save you the trouble of having to cut out the parts of the capture you may not want (taskbar, other windows, background, etc.)

There should be a button on your keyboard labeled "Print Screen" or something along those lines. Press that, then go to the following:

Start>All Programs>Accessories>Paint.

Once you open Paint, press Ctrl + V. Once that is done, it should be illustrated in Paint and you can save it to what you wish by clicking on the "File" tab then clicking "Save As".

Shift + PrtSc and it will take a screenshot and if you go to MS paint and then go to edit>paste and viola. Hope this helped.

Press print screen button- it's on the block of keys between the keyboard & the numeric pad.

That'll put the screenshot on the clipboard.

To take a screen shot of the entire computer screen, just press the Print Screen button...It should say Prt Sc and be in the upper right part of your keyboard. After that, go to paint or any other picture editer you have and paste it. That's all there is to it ^
