if you can take it with you around places usually you should just be able to take a videos or picture and plug you camera into a USB cord and up load it from the Camera Software

What kind of web cam are you using?

I have A4 cam that by opening the program and by creating a file for recording, I simply click the start to begin recording video and clicking end to stop it. Then it automatically save the video to my documents where I created before hand.

Your webcam should have a CD-ROM with it. On there will be a bit of software that will save videos using your webcam as the source.
