Okay if you are reading this with the intention of talking c**p please don't.

I just need help, well my daughter has her ears pierced and one of the ears has swelled up just a little, and is a little puffy, and when I took the ear ring out it has some puss. Is it puss that is making it puffy? And should I push on it to get the rest of it out. Also I called her doctor and she said the just take the ear ring out, which I did. So what you think I should do? Any suggesttions?

  1. you should get her hypo allergenic earrings just to be safe, but anyways take the earring out for a lil while then clean it with peroxide wait til the next morning and put it back in.you should clean her ears with peroxide til they heal and have your lil girl turn the earrings so that the ear does not grow over it..good luck to you

  2. just keep them out for a couple days and clean it with soap and water..maybe some rubbing alcohol and then clean the earings too..are they real gold or silver? if not maybe she is allergic..hope that helps..

  3. Hi there i have had my ears pierced twice my nose my tongue and my belly button pierced, and the way i have always been told to clean them if they got infected is to take the earing out mix up some cooled boiled water and some salt, dip a cotton bud into it and just wipe  the piercing is but make sure you do not rub twice with the same side then put the earing back in. once you have put it back in dont take them out again just clean around the earing and be sure to turn them twice a day Try and keep her hair away from it and be sure not to get any shampoo or soap near it as the perfume in the soap could make it worse. Do not push the rest of it our because that will just make it swell more and will just hurt your daughter.

  4. I got my daughters ears pierced when she was one years old and 8 weeks when they were supposed to be healed they became infected just like you were talking about. DO NOT TAKE THEM OUT. If you take them out her ear can close and the infection will be inside the ear. You need to rinse the earrings in alcohol and then put them back in. Use neosporin twice a day along with the ear cleaner you got. She is going to cry when you put them back in and it may hurt the first few days when you clean it. Make sure you keep turning the earring and pushing it back and forth so the neosporin and ear cleaning solution gets inside the ear. And don't worry it's not your fault, it will heal in two weeks.

  5. keep the earring out for a few days and bathe it with salt water twice daily it worked for me took 3 days to clear up
