How do I take care of my riding helmet?

It's black velveteen (I was on a synthetic material horseback riding stuff spree... Don't ask >.<) and I'm sure there are instructions, but I can't find the box. So, how do I keep it clean (especially inside)?

All you have to do do is keep your hair clean for the inside. To keep the outside in good shape, you must use a very delicate suede cleaner and a suede brush. This has worked on most shoes I have with a top velveteen layer.

You can buy helmet bags at tack stores to keep the outside clean. They will also carry a number of helmet cleaners for the inside of the hat because it is seemingly impossible to keep the dirt and sweat out! If you can&#039;t find it at a local store dover saddlery carries both kinds of items and you can order online.
