How do I take good pictures of myself?

I'm talking about poses, lighting, and stuff. Oh and how do you photoshop? I want to know how to make everything gray except for 1 particular thing. Thanks!!

Hi.  Learning about poses, lighting and stuff is really a whole profession.  It take a lot of learning and practicing and mistakes and money to learn how to do that stuff well.  So, if you really want a great picture of yourself, it might be worth paying a professional photographer who really knows how to do it.

I'm gonna skip the first part as that's huge and I don't think an answer can fit here.

As for the second, you select the item you want left in color, invert the selection to have everything you want in grayscale selected, convert to black-and-white or desaturate, and voila.
