  1. I saw this on another question but I couldn't find it in my history. I was having trouble with this about...5 minutes ago and someone suggested IDUMP. it's pretty easy. All you have to do is run it while your ipod is connected and if should already search for your music. once it does that you want to go to output options and select you desktop, but make sure to make a new folder to store the music in. after that's done, I can't really help you. sorry, it's just I'm currently waiting on 4,000 songs to download into my pc.

I know it wasn't much help but I thought I might try.

  2. download this program:

    http://www.ipod-music-transfer.com/

  3. I downloaded a software called 'Aniosoft iPod To Computer' to help me, It is a ipod backup tool to help you easily copy / transfer your songs , videos from your iPod to PC. You can find it at http://www.dvdipodsoft.com/ipod-to-compu...

It's fast, easy and very wonderful. I think it is a good choose.Hope it helps.
