How do I take my radio out of my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix?

  1. very easy.  you need a s***w driver and a socket wrench.  first you need to take the dash off.  it is usually held on by a few snaps that pop off pretty easily.  sometimes there will be screws by the glove box that you need to take off but accessible.  then the radio will be held by 3 more screws that need to be removed.  when pulling out the radio, pull gently and disconnect the wire harness and the antenna.  

    if you are putting in a new radio, you will have to buy a new wire harness, receiver harness, and usually an antenna connector.
