  1. A cleaning kit?

  2. I have used coke to remove rust from many objects... (the drink not the drug)

  3. CLR- They sell it in most grocery stores.

  4. If it is just an overnight rust, use very fine sandpaper to polish it to a shiny surface. If you go to a web site "scary sharp" it will explain how to sharpen chisels, planes and knives with sandpaper.

  5. If it's really bad there are several commercial products that will take the rust off, your local hardware store should carry them. Most work well if you follow the directions.

If it isn't too bad, try using WD-40.  Spray it on, let it soak in, then wipe off with a paper towel.  You could also use 000 or 0000 steel wool instead of the paper towel to really clean it up.

  6. Wipe it down with WD-40.

  7. Use a bit of steel wool or wet and drie paper with some WD40 and just rub.
