How do I talk to an "emo" boy?

Question

I do not label people. I believe that labels are for soup cans and not people. But I would like to know how I go about talking to an "emo" boy in my class. I just want to be able to get to know him. I don't intend on getting into any sexual relationships, because I'm not g*y, but I just want to be able to be friends.

What do I say? How do I go about doing it, because from what I have heard, "emo's" are real sensitive? When should I say it?

Please help, and remember, I don't 'label' people. Labels are for soup cans, not people.

They are the most pathetic wanna-bes i've seen, you know what am sayin? I don't know why the h**l you want him to be your friend.

My advice:

Get a girlfriend, love her, take care of her.. and, stay the f-ck away from that loser, and if you see him around blow the f*g-ot up.

Well since he isn't a soup can treat him like a friend....say hi, smile and have a conversation about music. That is always a great ground breaker.

im friends with an 'emo' and hes cool...hes not what others think he is...

just say hi and sup? and carry on from there...
