How do I tell a friend of mine that I have romantic feelings for her?

I have this friend that I really like. I've had feelings for her for a while. We talk and flirt almost everyday. She just got out of a pretty serious relationship. I've talked to her and she says she's not ready to date again. I understand this and am willing to wait for her, I just don't want her to get away without me at least telling her how I feel. Any advice on how i should tell her.

ew, don't sing to her.  It's not 1985 and you're not John Cusack.  Flowers and poetry may be a little much, and add unnecessary pressure on her, because they seem like a big gesture on your part. Just ask her if she'd ever consider you as more than a friend, even if it's not now.  But be casual, and tell her that it's no big deal if she doesn't like you, you were just wondering.  This way it's no blow to your pride, and you didn't waste money on flowers.  Or else ask her friends, because they may be able to be more honest with less chance of you feeling like a fool.

well if your say u both flirt than maybe she's not sure that she's not ready to date. give her some time but take her on a really special date like a cute picnic, a cute picnic at your/her house with a movie. then if it feels like its right tell her how you feel about her.
