How do I tell my dad that I want to move in with my mom?

okay, so my parents got a divorce last year, and I was crushed. I stayed with my dad, occasionally visiting my mom. My dad HATED it when I visited my mom. In these past months, I haven't seen her at all. She offered to let me move in, if I wanted to, because she misses me too.

My dad is getting remarried, and I don't like his new fiance.

She acts nce now, but i KNOW that once they get married, she will try to act like my mom, which she isn't.

I want to live with my mom.

How do I tell my dad?

even though your dad didn't like you to stay with your mom, now would be good to get a change.tell him it's what you want and if he loves you he will hopefully let you visit her. simply ask your dad if maybe you can try a change for a little bit and be with your mom. it might take courage but if you really want it and don't wanna be with your dads fiance then go for it. hope that he will understand what you need/want.

Tell him that you would like to go stay with your mom so that he has some alone time with his new wife and you can spend some time with your mom. then no ones feelings get hurt.

Be honest with him and tell him his attitude about hating you visiting your mother only causes a divide between him and you. Just tell him you want to live with her and then do it.

Be honest with them.  It will be hard but they will understand... Sit your dad down and talk to him it will be hard but it is the best way to handle it.

You need to get your dad away from his fiance and just explain the reasons why you want to live with your mom. I would start by explaining that "living with mom will be beneficial to me because....." Is school a reason? Is he always busy with his fiance and mom is willing to help you  with school work? Tell him that you do not get along with his fiance and give examples. It is best to be as honest as possible and give reasons that he will understand.
