How do I tell my family that I am dating a man that is 22 years older than I am?

I am g*y and I met a really great guy. The only thing is, he is 22 years older than me. I have met his family and he wants to meet mine. I have no clue how to tell them about him. I am sure they would love him if he was like oh say closer to my age. Oh I am 18 and he is 40 btw.
