Question:

How do I tell my friend that I want him to stop chewing tobacco?

I found out that my friend, Tyler, has been chewing tobacco for almost a year. He's 18 now, but he started when he was 17. I also know he does drink and occasionally gets baked. I don't know how often he chews, but I'm concerned. I really care about him. He knows I'm bi and doesn't have a problem with it, but I didn't tell him that I like him. ANYWAYS, I don't know how or when I should talk with him about the chewing, drinking, and/or the smoking. Any help?

  1. Just tell him upfront that you don't like it when he does any of that.  If he respects you for being bisexual, then he will respect you for telling him that you don't like what he is doing, and if he is really your friend, he will quit, or if not, he will quit when he is around you.  Maybe try getting him some help, or trying talking him out of it, and telling him how bad it is for him and it can kill him and stuff.

I wish you the best of luck!
