  1. Just tell your mom when your sis isnt around

  2. why? its normal, just tell her sheesh.

  3. like this. MOm i have menstruation, everything will be fine!

  4. talk to her alone and ask her not to blab it.

    thats a hard one!

  5. Just tell her she will understand because both of you are gurls.

  6. Tell your mom that you have something private that you need to talk about and that you want it to stay private. Then just tell her that you started your period and that you are going to need some pads and tampons. Sorry, there isn't really a non-awkward way to do it if these lines of communication aren't usually addressed in your family

  7. dont tell her if u dont want to , u dont have to.

  8. your mom will be completely understanding and even though it is an embarassing thing for you to talk about, you need to tell your mom that you need to get some pads. Trust me when i say that there will be no big deal over you starting. It is a part of growing up and you need to let your mom know so you can get what you need for it.

  9. Id say just straight up and tell her it may be embarrassing but thats one thing you shouldnt keep secret from ur mom. Shell keep it secret from the world if u told her to. :) but at least it didnt happen like mine

**I remember i woke up and thought i was dying it was everywhere(sleepin in just undies) i of course ran through the house yellin im dyin (my father and brother didnt know what to make of it) and eventually she told me what was happenin and took me to the store to get some pads n let me buy a few to experiment with the ones i like more. turned out ok

  10. tell her you need to talk with her in private.  Then when you do, tell her you really would prefer your sister not know about it.  She'll understand.  My sister told my mom that and I didn't even know she had her mens until 4 years later :)

  11. I know how you feel, I was shy about telling my mum, but its all part of the job of being a girl. There really isnt anything to be embarassed or shy about, its a -perfectly natural thing. Just tell her, and she will help you and buy pads. Weirdly, it was a bonding time with my mum. Dont worry about your sister knowing, she doesnt have to know. My brother doesnt know and ive been having periods for a year. Anyway, It will happen to her too! Welcome to being a womAN!

  12. She'll be able to understand she's been through it too

Just tell her plain and simply "Moom I've started my cycle now"

    that's what I told mine

  13. to be honest the easiest way wud b to jus sit down n explain it 2 her calmly its nothin 2 b ashamed about it happens to ppl n they cope and if its a older sister it may b easier 2 explain it to her and let her tell ur mum

  14. i texted mii mom.

    i was at school thoughh.

-its not that big of a deal..your moms gone through it 2.

say mom i started my period. it sucks and idk what to do.

can you get me some midol & pads?

    k now everythings ok(:

  15. It's not like she doesn't know it's coming.  She's been through it too!

  16. your mum will understand, she has gone through that as well

just talk to her in private, you are going to have to tell her eventually. and its nothign to be embarrassed about.

  17. Don't be that shy.

The shyness can become a serious problem for you later on (if it isnt already)  Just tell her.

  18. It's a perfectly normal bodily function and you shouldn't be shy about it. Your mother experiences it and if your sister doesn't now then she will soon. Don't be embarassed about it.

  19. just talk about it to her in private

  20. girl your crazi i think you should haver told her the same day you got it i did i told my mom its good if she knows she can help you with everything your going thru plz dont go to your freinds 4 advice i mean they probably can help you bt your moms advice is better

  21. Don't worry about a thing.  Just try and be adult about it - your mom will have gone through exactly the same thing and will know how you are feeling.  You have nothing to be ashamed of - this is your first step into young womanhood - congratulations!

Just say "mom, I have my first period" and she will probably hug you and talk to you about it; if you are really uncomfortable about your sister knowing just yet, ask your mom to keep it to herself for now, but I'm sure you'll soon see you have nothing to worry about, all women, all over the world go through the same every month for their whole adult life.

Welcome to womanhood and good luck! :-)

  22. I'm shy person and I was afraid to tell to my mom when I got my period but she noticed the second day and she helped me a lot then

The best thing to do is to tell to your mother straight away because there is nothing to be ashamed of and eventually she'll find out

  23. 1.  Open mouth

    2.  Let words come out

    3.  Mom may already know.

  24. Every girl experiences it (even mom).  Just tell her.  Its nothing to be embarrassed about.  I mean, really.

  25. if you're REALLY that shy, just tell her the red army has come to pay you a visit LOL
