How do I tell my parents that I need to see a counselor?

I posted a question in the mental health section and clearly, I need to see a counselor but now it's my school term break and the counselor isn't around. What do I do?

If you need help immediately call the crisis line.

You might try talking to the parent you feel the most open with. Explain your feelings and if you can say why you feel like you do, say it but if you feel it would make you feel worse to tell a parent right now, explain that you would rather talk about it with a counselor first. Tell your mom/dad if it is an emergency. God bless you and remember that you are worth having a counselor if you need one.
