  1. well the first question is simple to answer tell them ifyou get one they won' t have to worry about raising a grandchild any time soon.

  2. I think your parents will be happy that you want to stay a virgin until marriage.  I know that I'm just going to put it on my birthday wishlist!  If your birthday is coming up this year, maybe you could do the same.  What do you want engraved on them?  These already come engraved with several different messages:

    Good luck!!!

  3. I wouldn't think your dad would be mad or anything. I think he would actually be happy if you got one.

As for price and such, I have nooo clue.

    Hope I helped ;D.

  4. you should just come straight out and ask them . as for the price, i have no clue . but i think theyd rather spend $5364.00 on a purity ring for you rather than $20.00 for birth control pills ;]

    loll =p . good luckk .

  5. you don't have to tell your parents.

    go to planned parenthood...

    they keep it confidential

  6. Its great that you want a purity ring. You should go to this website I found. But, to tell your parents, if they really support you, you can make sure that your parents don't have anything important they will be doing, and sit down and talk to them. Tell them exactly how you feel and they should help and support you.

  7. That should be way easier then asking for birth control

  8. why would your parents care? wouldnt they be happy?

  9. Just tell them, I mean wouldn't that be a good thing?

Second -- why do you have to tell them? Not having s*x is a personal choice.

  10. Tell them, I'm sure they'll be more than proud.

  11. I think they would be happy that you are willing to make an oath not to have s*x. Tell your mom, then ask her what her oppinion about telling him. you can order them on the internet.

  12. They should be proud that you want to stay a virgin!

If your mom wouldn't care, then there's something wrong. And your dad should be happy.

Sorry I don't know how much they are...good luck though!

  13. Just tell em why you want one. & its everything you believe in. But serioiusly how could they be mad? i bet they would be happy! :)

  14. i think your parents would think of it as a good thing that you want one and be supportive of it. so dont worry.

you can get them at different places, so you just have to look and ask around. most jewelry stores or jewelry repair shops do engraving for you!

  15. umm **** ur dad hope this helps<3333

  16. why wouldn't u wanna tell your parents that. It seems that they would b ecstatic for you to tell them that.

  17. omg! go for it. just ask them. if one says no for some weird reason just ask the other one.

  18. OKAY TELLL them"hay Im thinking about getting a purity ring... its not bad AT ALLL it means your saving yourself for the right person  obviously and you will have a lesser chance of getting disease  and heartbroken.... its not a bad thing at all. take them to a jewelry shop...

  19. Whats a purity ring ?

  20. Just tell them out right. The price depends on where you go to get it done.

  21. Good for you. Your parents, I would think, would be happy. Engraving doesn't cost a whole lot. You can take it to a jeweler. I don't know exactly how much, maybe $25? I wish I had done something like that when I was younger:) I have never heard of anything like that until they just had a big spread of it in Time magazine the other week.

  22. i think they'll be happy you wanna wait..just tell them

    hope i helped

  23. I've been wondering the exact same thing! I just came to realize that that is the relationship between you and you God or whoever you are doing it for. Your parents should not be mad about and you don't need to be embaressed.

  24. well im guessing that a purity ring is something you get when you want to remain a virgin till your married..and if thats what it is  i cant understand why your parents would have a problem with that..id say ,,GOOD FOR YOU!!!!   and they should  feel proud .thats  an  awsome choice,,but if thats not what i is  ill really feel   dum and old.. so clue me in if it means something else please

  25. how could they be mad about you wanting to stay a virgin? They would probably be enthralled.

  26. Just tell your mom you want a purity ring..

  27. why are u afraid to ask? theyd probably be really happy.

  28. In my opinion I think most parents would be thrilled if their kids got a purity ring.  You can get one on line or wherever and take it to any jeweler and they can get it engraved, also look on line for the best price and place. Hope that helps.. : )

  29. well you should tell you're mom then tell not to tell you're dad then, next time you see you're dad bring it up and see what he says and they are usualy $8.00 - $36.00 and if you want it engraved If you order from the website it is $8 for machine engraving and $30 for hand engraving of up to three letters

  30. Purity rings are a scam and a boast.

If you really have self respect and integrity, then you don't need a symbol to show off to the world.
