Question

I had to sell my VW golf and might have been spoiled as they came with one. On the remote it has the basic lock, unlock and panic. When I lock the car I dont see any lights flashing or anything like that. If I do have one does it arm when I lock the car with the remote? Or do you have to do something special? I guess I could lock it and pull on some handles to see, but I am at a hotel and its 11:15pm.

roll down the window and lock the car ...reach thru and open the door from the inside. If the alarm goes off then  you have an alarm.   do it in the morning
