I was assigned a project for my Bible class where I have to teach the Christmas/Nativity story to a Kindergarten class. Any ideas on how I can tell it at their level and keep their attention?

  1. A little Christmas music in the background may help. Story interaction (kids can dress up and act out the scene as it's being narrated).

  2. give them something to  eat like popcorn, cookies when they are eating tell them their story.

  3. Get a children's book with nice pictures and the story told in simple words.  You can read and stop to show the pictures. Have one for my grandchildren they love it.

  4. Kids love to hold toys. Bye sturdy figures mentioned in the story. Pass them around, start talking about them, asking if anyone knows them, and then start the story.

  5. involve the children by using puppets or dressed up soft toys to act out the story. Keep it simple
