I have a Peace Lilly and some of the leaves have started to go black on the ends. Is it ok to break these off or will I do the plant more harm? I've searched for the answer elsewhere, but can't find much detail.

  1. it is ok to cut the dead leaves off. your plant is to near to the wall,or in to much light.try moving it away from yhe wall. it must not touch the wall or a plant ,that will turn the leaves black.

  2. It seems like Peace Lilies (Spathiphyllum) always have a few leaves that need to be cut off.  As long as it's producing new ones don't worry.  This is actually one of the easiest house plants to grow.  Cut the leaves off at the bottom of the stem with shears- don't pull them off.

  3. i usually wait until they r dried and pull them out but i think u can cut them off not break always better to cut plants with scissors and in a angle
