How do I terminate/delete a Yahoo Group that I started that has become defunct. I don't want to keep it.?

The group was needed at one time as a repository for an upcoming reunion. It isn't needed anymore. Can I delete the group completely? How?

If you’re the group owner or a moderator with the necessary privileges to delete a group, you’ll see the link to delete a group in the lower-right corner of the Management page.

Important: Deleting a group is permanent! Proceed with caution.

If you click the Delete group button, you’ll remove the group from Yahoo! Groups, unsubscribe all members, and eliminate all archives, shared files, and calendars.

if you're the owner- click management- under group settings it will say Delete Group, with a link below that- click it, enter reason for deleting group and click delete
