Question:

How do I texturize the edges of a wall that my leather texturizing roller will not reach?

I just used sheetrock mud and a leather texture roller to texturize my bathroom walls. They look great, but how do I get into the nooks and crannies/edges that the roller won't reach? (It is the size of a normal paint roller) What can I dip into the mud and use to apply texture to these areas? I have heard that crumbled up paper works and have tried it, but it seems to deteriorate very quickly. Any ideas? Thanks so much.....

  1. I assume you meant the paper you are crumpling up is deteriorating?  In that case, try a plastic bag.  Ive used bread bags, zip lock bags, wax paper, sponges of various types, and brushes, etc... to form different kinds of texture.  You may have to experiment to find the best match.

When using plastic bags, how thick it is will affect the way it textures...thicker plastic is stiffer, etc.
