if you have an open membership group, there wont be any e-mail to pick up. if you have a restricted group (membership approval) that request via the web will show up at the mid top of the groups home page and if you have selected the notices to be sent to you, they will go to the e-mail address you selected to use for the group, meaning the same address posts from the groups are sent to- for instance I have hotmail, gmail and AOL on my Yahoo Account, but for groups I use AOL

set up notices:

go to home page, top middle click edit memebrship- scroll down to bottom and select/ check all or the one for pending members- click save changes
