How do I to take care of my Guppy and Sword tail fry/babies?

I have a 10 gallon tank with 20-25 Guppy and Sword tail fry and a lot of them are dieing I used to have around 60 and most of them died. My 10 gallon tank does have a filter and there is a plant in there (fake). The water does feel a little cold around 74°. Could it be the temperature? How can I take care of my Guppy and Sword tail fry?

It's not uncommon for 75% or more of the fry born to die before maturity.  I never bother to separate them out of the main tank because the death rate is about the same and then there is no problem of when to reintroduce them.  Unless you have some market for them there really isn't any reason to try to raise them separately.

Lack of oxygen, general rule is 1 gal. of water per. in. typical tropical fish, goldfish require 2 gal. of water per. 1 in. Guppy's reach about 1 to 1/2 in., so U would only be able to keep 8-10 in a 10 gallon tank & expect them to live. U need a bigger tank & an air system if u plan to keep that many fish, 10 gal. way 2 small.

Usually several of the babies will die this is why they have so many. I would adjust the temperature to around 70 and make certain they are receiving proper nutrition.

i  think that 70 is to low

i work at a pet store anfd ive been breeding guppies and livebearers for a while now what you should do is buy a new tank or a guppy hatchery they float at the top of your tank and they hold the babiy guppies untill there old enough just make sure that they are getting water cerculating around in the hatchery

feed the fry crushed flakes or fry liguid food

guppy fry are good to go in the main tank at aroud 4 weeks or untill they are large enough not to fit in the other fishes mouths

it is a fun and rewarding thing and maybe your local pet store might buy them of of you
