How do I track international mail sent to London from the USA?

I sent the package from the US to London via USPS and was told the it would take about 7 to 10 business days, I was told by USP that it may be held up in customs, how do I find out where it is ? I checked with USPS and they can only confirm that the package was sent no other info available here in the US

Without having sent it "registered" mail in the first place . . . it is unlikely that you'll have the information you are looking for.

If you'd used (say) UPS Express (courier service) they have on line tracking systems and software to watch every step of the way.

I'd say just wait at this point and check in with the person that you sent the parcel to in the first place as to when it arrives
