  1. To be a near perfect human or a ninja, a lot of things are really to be considered. Fitness wise, the regular fitness training done by most fitness instructors will do. In diet, a well balanced meals will make the day. But if you're really after a real ninja meal, since they're from Japan, Japanese food would do nicely.

Ninjas are known for their silent movements, and great balance, the digits on their toes act as small antennas while their heel and ball on the foot acts as support during some acts that require balancing like rope walking. Practicing proper foot work and proper leg positioning to acquire this. In terms of silence, many things will have to be considered such as  tip-toeing, environment surveillance and etc.

Basically that's what ninjas are known for and a month or two of training will help you acquire that body

  3. It doesnt matter what you eat, but if you are a ninja, eat everything with chopsticks.  Also, just take karate, and if it is too expencive, buy the stuff they use in karate, and just do it at home.  I would also reccomend watching Naruto.  If you are trying to become a ninja, watching how they train, will help you train.  It is on 9:00 PM EST on Saturdays, or you can watch youtube videos of it, or buy it in the DVD section of Barnes and noble, or order it straight from www.naruto.com

  4. Being a ninja isn't simply being in shape and being a good fighter.

It means being an assasin/spy.  Join the CIA or something.

  5. ***** ninjas it's all a load of bollacks. if you want to be an assin get a sniper rifle.

if you want to fight bare handed effectively learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

  6. First if you want the body and physique of a ninja you got to want to be a ninja. Second to met your demand of the body of a ninja you got to train like a ninja to actual have the body of a ninja. Don't substitute or guess what they do to have that physique you actual got to really do it to get the results that you want : a body that is built like a ninja. But don't just limit your training to Ninjitsu combine other styles like Muay Thai, Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Sambo, or Submission/Catch Wrestling to make you a more complete fighter. The more you know the more techniques you can use against your opponent to save your life or win in a competition. If you want to make fighting using Ninjitsu a career SWAN is an organization that promotes Ninjitsu for modern combat and competition use. SWAN also hosts its own MMA tournaments and also sponsors Ninjitsu fighters to fight in MMA shows in the fighter's area. But if you want to really be the big time athlete or fighter check out MMA Recruiter.com they post up and coming events through the US and have emergency fighter acceptances to make a name for yourself really quick as well for the promotion. If you truly want what you desire there is only one way of achieving it the right way.

  7. hahaha a1magician was hillarious. do what he said.

  8. So much ridiculousness being passed off as advice...

Alright, as far as the actual, traditional "ninja foods" (ninja shoku), most of your food is going to consist of vegetables and rice, cooked in the sun; small, whole fish; dried foods during the winter or in the field (in Iga, there's a traditional type of hard cracker, I believe made from buckwheat, which lasts well and is eaten only after being broken up with a mallet... This sort of food is common for portability). A modern equivalent might be macrobiotic foods and dieting, which can be learned about at a local bookstore or on the web.

Ninja training started from a very young age. Much of the actual techniques are "unconfirmed" (Much of Japanese and especially ninja history was passed down through "kuden" or "oral teachings", and were not written down until well after the Meiji Restoration). It's believed that activities such as balancing on fences or walls were used to train young ones balance, while leaping over growing plants would help train their legs for jumping. As they grew older, self-defense training and weapons training would be added, in addition to their various chores. Most ninja lived in villages with a sort of communal life, in which the people worked together for their mutual survival. Building, farming, or carrying water could all be activities being performed.

Flexibility, a low body weight, and good stamina are key. Much of ninpo taijutsu (principle ninja body skills) is used to create distance and run away when caught. Being able to rely on body mechanics and your legs and body weight (even while weighing less than the well fed samurai) could make the ninja a formidable opponent.

Your modern exercises to replace all this type of work will focus on body-weight resistance exercises, stamina building, flexibility, and core strength (to maintain an upright, balanced posture). The idea is to be able to push, pull, or lift your own body weight in most cases.

If you want to learn more, there's some good info in Shoto Tanemura's "Hiden Ninpo", and Soke Hatsumi's books. A lot of Hayes' stuff is based on misinformation (Soke Hatsumi will use lies to teach lessons, which can be very confusing and very hard to follow... Reading his books and looking for the conflicts should tell you exactly what he doesn't want you to know), but he has some good workouts in some of his books. I have not seen or read any of Manaka Unsui's information, so I can't comment on that. Pretty much anything else is guaranteed to be half-truths or blatant lies (*cough*Ashida Kim*cough*)

  9. You have to be good with a katana and throwing stars.  I would suggest watching this
