  2. I am a professional swimmer. To increase the volume inside your lungs, you need simple requarments( A pool). For ten minutes do an excercise call the locte set. Have a rope in the middle of a pool, when you start swimming, every time you reach the rope go under it. Do 20 laps a day and you can hold your brath for 1 minute. Also, when holding your breath relax and think about something happy as this will improve lung capacity by 20%.

  3. Here is a website for you.

These guys are fanatical about freediving. They have training methods posted all over their message boards. If you want to learn to hold your breath it's the best place to go. You don't have to start freediving yourself, just use their techniques. Many of them are well over 3min with their breath hold.

    Good luck to you.
