How do I transer data from old computer to a new one?

I just upgraded my computer ans want to easily download from old to new. However, after 3 teenage/young adults and myself downloading stuff, and programs being improperly deleted, unistalled and just general overall junk, I want to "selectively" transfer fills. What's the best and esiest way to do this?

The easiest way is to get a flash drive, transfer your files to that, and then to the new pc.

get an external hard drive, transfer all the files to that. then transfer the files from there to the new computer. ive done it and it works plus you can then use the external hard drive when you run out of space on your computer.

1.Slot a memory stick in the old computer if you have one

2. transfer the files into the memory, then remove it and put it in the new computer.

3. Now open the memory stick and transfer the files to the new computer.
