How do I transfer Firefox Bookmarks using Vista?

I want to transfer (copy, really) my FIREFOX bookmarks from my desktop computer to my new laptop so that they both have the same bookmarks. How do I do this. The desktop is WIN XP and the laptop is Vista

  1. Step 1: Get rid of Vista

  2. All you need to do is when in XP go to,

    C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\Mozilla

    and backup the Mozilla folder (you may need to go to Folder Options/View tab and uncheck "Show hidden files and folders" first, have to do the same in Vista). Then when in Vista copy/paste the Mozilla folder into,

    C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming

    After doing the above you should now have all your Bookmarks, Extensions, Themes and any saved passwords that you were using in Firefox in XP.

  3. Find your Bookmarks folder in XP right click on it and copy it to disk or memory stick then transfer the medium content into your Vista computer's Bookmarks folder.
